In this video, I'm going to demonstrate how to change price bar types. Now, as you can see, we have Apple on the screen, and you can see each chart type is a candlestick chart.

Now, you'll notice the candlestick charts have multicolors. Okay, there's red, yellow, and green. That's because we have an overlay that's turned on: a proprietary indicator called the Bulls and Bears, which is telling you when the price bars are bullish, bearish, and neutral. So, those are color-coded price bars that lay on top of any other price bar type.

I'm going to remove the Bulls and Bears. Take that off, and so this is the traditional red and green price bars. Now, these are candlestick charts. If we right-click on the chart and come down to the right-click menu that says "Price Bar Types," you'll notice that we have a number of different styles.

We have open-high-close, which looks like this. We have the open-high-close bars. If we right-click, we can change to high-low-close, which just eliminates the open side. We also have the ability to do close only, and this is very popular when looking at mutual funds.

If we come down here and do price bar type "Open Only," so this is an open-only bar—again, another price bar type that's very popular with mutual funds. Then, we have candlesticks, and candlesticks are probably the most common or the most popular ones you see most often.We do have a variation of candlesticks. We also have another price bar style, which is called the Hiken-Ashi bars. Now, Hiken-Ashi bars are applied to your candlestick bars. So, you right-click on your chart, slide down to the chart preferences, and if you click on that, it opens up your chart preferences tab. Inside here, you can see we have Hiken-Ashi.

If we go ahead and click Hiken-Ashi, you'll notice that that will turn on your Hiken-Ashi bars or your Hiken-Ashi candlesticks. Now, in customizing your button bars, if you come in and click "Customize Toolbar," you do have an HA button in here that you can add onto your button bar. By clicking the Hiken-Ashi button in the button bar, you can toggle your Hiken-Ashi bars on and off.That's just a quick summary of how to change your price bars within Track and Trade.
