Company History

Gecko Software was established in 2000 by veteran trader Lan H. Turner, where the company grew its roots in the commodities trading market. Feeling severely handicapped by the tools available on the market at the time, Lan H. Turner commissioned some computer programmers to produce a custom package to analyze the markets in a very specific way, accommodating his personal style.  Later, he released this platform to the public, calling it Track ‘n Trade.

Track 'n Trade revolutionized the way people analyzed the futures market and now continues to revolutionize the way people trade the futures, forex, and stock markets. Traders of all skill levels can practice their strategies and hone their skills in a simulated environment until they are fully ready to invest their real personal capital. Track 'n Trade also introduced an interactive chart which gave the user the ability to place trades directly on the chart itself thus coining the phrase "The Ultimate Trading Platform for the Visual Investor".

Since the original version of Track 'n Trade was released each subsequent version has built upon the powerful and intuitive capabilities of the previous versions. Gecko Software now offers robust real time charting & analytical, live trading platforms for stocks, futures, & forex where users can place actual trades directly on the charts by dragging and dropping or simply by clicking a button. Additionally, Gecko Software offers a charting & analytical software for futures (end-of-day) has a built-in historical simulator for practicing trading techniques as well as a module that allows for tracking physical commodities of crops & livestock against the local markets with adjustments for any local basis points.

Gecko Software specializes in the development of software applications designed to assist futures, forex, and stocks traders in becoming successful at trading the financial markets. Track 'n Trade has been featured in some of the industry's top national publications including: Stocks and Commodities, Futures Magazine, Trader's World, and Active Trader. Track 'n Trade has received the Stocks & Commodities People's Choice Award six times.
